Merry Late Christmas my friends! I hope wherever you are you were able to spend time with those you love. We need to charish our relationships with those we love. They are what will last and have the most impact on our lives.
The missions Christmas present to all the missionaries was transfer calls on Sunday the 27th. In that call we find out if we are moving to a new area in the mission or staying in our current area. Well, Elder Decker and I are both staying in Clarksville for another six weeks!! I am glad I can still be with Elder Decker and learn from him. I also relish the chance I have to continue to work with the members and friends I have met!
One highlight from this week. I was able to participate in my first exchange (I work with another missionary from a different area while their companion works with Elder Decker in our area) I exchanged into a Spanish companionship, so I went so some Spanish lessons for a day. I recognized a few words but overall I did not comprehend much haha. That is okay. The missionary was very good at speaking Spanish. The Lord was working through him to teach His children in that area.
Jesus Christ is the reason for Christmas. But He is more tha just Christmas. He is the reason, we can return to our Heavenly Father again. "He is the way the truth and the light" (I can't remember/couldn't find the scripture referance)
